READING IN FUN

One of the last days of the term we shared a great experience. We took our special boxes full of all the  books we have saved during all these years and we read with our neighbours from fourth grade. It was awesome because we love reading and we shared our favourite books in pairs using both classes and the hall.
At the end of the activity we talked about Christmas: the different ways we celebrate it, the food we eat, the importance of toys and family...It was really fun!

These days we are learning about density doing experiments.

We made an egg float. How? We discovered that salt water is denser than tap water.

Suddenly, a volcano erupted

And...we made a density column with many substances. We all had a good time and we learned a lot!

We used honey, pomegranate syrup, milk, dish soap, fabric conditioner and oil.

COOPERATIVE LEARNING

We worked in teams to do a page about nouns and adjectives. We followed these steps: In turns, first we decide the answer and ask our partners if they agree or not with us. Then, if everybody agrees, we all write the answer, but if we don't agree we need to decide which answer is the correct one. If we don't understand it, our partners can help us. Later, when we finish the first exercise, we do the second exercise in the same way and so on.
