Children at school are studying the plant kingdom in science. we are going to learn about the parts of plants and their functions, types of plants and their importance.

THE KAPOK TREE PROJECT FOR SCIENCE

Hello families! During the last few weeks, we have been working and learning about wild animals. Students have read and written about the special characteristics of specific animals that live in the American rainforest, specially, on the kapok tree. 

We learned about the anaconda, the three-toed sloth, the  scarlet macaw, the tapir, coati-mundi, parrots, morpho butterfly, boa constrictor, iguana, etc.

It was really fun to work about animals! Here you are some pictures from our project.

READING IS FUN!

READING IS FUN WHEN READING WITH FRIENDS!

 

 This week our class read with another group of 3rd grade and 6th grade. We showed our friends all our books in our "shoe boxes", we read our favourite book to a partner and they also read a book to us. It was really fun and interesting to go to read with other students!!
