SCIENCE WORK AT HOME 
5th GRADE A and B (Sergio´s class)

Good morning boys and girls! How are you doing? I hope that you are all fine and trying to make the most of this time in your house with your families.

Everything will be okay soon, but during this time we have to work online and we are going to use your class blog to work on science everyday. We will post your homework here two times a week, so please, check your blog everyday to do your work ;)

If you have any questions or comments you can write here just clicking on "comentarios" at the end of this post.

We will publish the results of the activities so you can correct your work. Don´t forget to do this. It is very important! And the teachers will check on everything when we are back to school.

-          Open your Student´s Book on page 18 and read the BIG IDEA -          Correct HW Activity Book page 10 exercise 7 -          REVIEW: Our brain: Student´s Book page 24. Read/Listen. Activity Book page 10 exercise 8. Watch video “Did you know that…?” from our blog. -          Student´s Book page 25: Listen/Read. Then, do exercise 3 orally and 4 in your notebook. -          Homework: Activity Book page 11 exercise 10 + Class Book page 30 exercise 1 in notebook + exercises 1 and 2 on page 31.

·         - Correct Homework: Activity Book page 11 exercise 11.
·        -  REVIEW:  - Structures of life: Read ex 3 on page 21 and then go to your Activity Book on page 8 and do exercise 1 and 2.
-          Activity Book page 8 exercise 3. ( Do this activity looking at pages 22 and 23 of your Student´s Book)-        Go now to your student´s book on page 24. Read/Listen Watch now video 6 from your blog. -          Student´s Book page 25 exercise 1 and 2.
 - Homework: Activity Book page 10 exercise 7.

2. Go now to your Class Book on page 23. Read "Smell and Taste".

3. Watch now video 3 from your blog.

4. Go to Class book page 23 and read "Touch"

5. Watch video 4 from your blog.

6. Go now to your Activity Book page 9 and do exercise 6.

7. Go to Class Book on page 23 and do exercise 1.

(Correct the exercise when you have finshed: iris-cochlea-inside).

8. HOMEWORK FOR THE NEXT DAY: Activity Book page 11 exercise 11.

1. Open your Clas Book on page 19 and listen/read the BIG IDEA.

2. Go to your Class Book on page 22 and listen (with your digital book on the compueter) and read. Watch now video 1 and 2 from your blog.

3. Open your science notebook and do the activity about the parts of the eye.

4. Go now to your Activity Book on page 9 and do exercises 4 and 5.

HOMEWORK FOR THURSDAY 19th OF MARCH 2020

1. Open your Class Book on page 18 and read aloud the BIG IDEA.

2. Go to your class book on page 26 and read it. 

3. Go now to your Activity Book on page 11 and do exercise 9.

4. Go now to your blog and watch again video 8 about the musculoskeletal system.

5. Go to your Class Book on page 27, read this page and do exercises 3 and 4 in your notebook.

2. Tell you mon/dad/etc... what you know about your bones and muscles (You can do it in Spanish if they don´t speak English). 

3. Open your Class Book on page 26-27 and read aloud.

4. Go to your blog and watch videos 7 and 8.

5. Complete your worksheet about the skeleton.
